Dermatovenerological Clinic is considered
as one of the oldest medical attendance of our hospital. The department
has commenced to labour under the denomination of “third department” in
year 1894 in common with the department for urological, ophtalmological
and otological patiens.
As distinct department for dermatological and venerological diseases
has started to work in year 1928.
In year 1972 the Clinic has been pronounced as Clinic for dermatological
and venerological diseases of Stomatological faculty of University
in Zagreb.
From that time subsists the Chair for dermatovenerology of Stomatological
faculty and is maintaining the pregraduate and postgraduate education
for the students of that faculty. The physicians with academic
titles contribute in the postgraduate classes for students of Medical faculty
in Zagreb. All employed participate on specialized and scientific
assemblies in our country and abroad.
The specialization in dermatovenerology thereof the obligatory part
of the medical practice are also practicing in the Clinic.
